Chapter 5

In chapter 5, we have Moses tracing for his Israelite readers the godly line of Seth in contrast to the line of Cain in chapter 4. We also have Moses showing his readers the truthfulness of God's Word---sin results in death.

The expression "and he died" is repeated over and over again in this chapter.
